Nino Schurter takes 1st at UCI XC race in Czech Republic.

Swiss rider Nino Schurter won the men's cross country race in the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano in Nove Mesto na Morave, Czech Republic. This is the third time he has won at this site. Pauline Ferrand Prevot of France took the first victory of her career in the women's race. Top U.S. riders for the men were Stephen Ettinger in 54th place and Kerry Werner in 62nd.
