Norco Race Division finishes the season strong and celebrates Greg’s last UCI race on home turf.

Episode 7 of Just Getting Started covers the final UCI race of the year at Mont Sainte-Anne, Québec. Norco Race Division was on fire this weekend, taking 3rd place as a team at MSA overall. It was the first time the whole team has been in finals together this season, feeling the support on home soil in celebration of Greg’s last UCI race, and the culmination of all their hard work paying off.

“It’s definitely extra special to be here. So many people from back home came out, it’s just fun. Everyone knows your name when you’re Canadian around here.”

   – Gracey Hemstreet

Gracey started her year winning RedBull Hardline and finished it as best-performing Canadian elite woman at MSA. With her second-place finish, she is the first Canadian woman to break top 5 at this venue, raising the bar significantly as she sets her sights on a win. Feeling prepared and in her element on home turf after a 4th place finish at World Champs in Andorra, she took on the thick fog and slick rock gardens on course with confidence.

This season has brought a lot of change to this new team. It’s been incredibly busy but also incredibly rewarding, and we’re headed into winter feeling motivated and excited to keep building for next year.
