ABSA Cape Epic Stage 1 Highlights Clip

Yesterday the first stage of the Absa CAPE EPIC 2014 took place in the area around Robertson. 108 kilometres in distance and 2.450 climbing metres in the Langeberg Mountains had to be managed by the riders today. The weather was a mix of clouds and scattered rain showers, which made the descents pretty tricky!

Stage 1 - Results:

1. 1st place: Team Centurion Vaude – Markus Kaufmann (GER) and Jochen Kaess (GER)
2. 2nd place: Team Meerendal Songo Specialized – Christoph Sauser (SUI) and Frantisek Rabon (CZE)
3. 3rd place: Team BMC Mountainbike Racing – Lukas Fluckinger (SUI) and Martin Fanger (SUI)
