NWD 9 - Never Enough

2081

I missed out the the premiere of New World Disorder 9 ~ Never Enough in Vegas due to a nasty cold that I managed to catch on the plane. One of my buddies had been on some of the shoots in the movie and said that some spectacular stuff went down, but that wouldn't be the first time that I had heard that said.

But he was right. In my humble opinion is the best NWD movie. It has a feeling of maturity and growth that wasn't present in the previous 8 movies. Don't think that it has gone all Collective since it still has a couple sections that are classic Freeride Entertainment, but overall I really enjoyed it.

Some stand out parts for me were:

Paul B, taking dirt jump tricks to natural & man made booters out in the wild and making all of it look easy.

Cam McCaul doing probably the most underrated session in the movie with big tricks over a river gap in Squamish. I don?t think there was a way to shoot it and make it look as larger as it really was.

The Gobi Dessert session was unbelievable. It looks like UT or Morocco, but way, way bigger.

The race footage of the Atherton's gives you a peak into how good they really are. Sections of a trail that would stop most people in their tracks are made to look like a simple section. They are hands down the best current racers.

The Red Bull dirt half pipe looks like you could have fun on it for weeks. I can only imagine how much fun it must have been to ride it.

The bottom line is that this is well worth watching. Go and get yourself a copy.

Plus: Unbelievable riding, great cinematography
Minus: None.
