Rocky Mountain signs Thomas Genon.
After years of performing at the highest level of freeride as a Red Bull athlete, Thomas Genon joins Rocky Mountain following a standout performance at the 2025 edition of Red Bull Rampage.
Genon secured second place, finishing just behind his new teammate and fellow Rocky Mountain Bicycles athlete Hayden Zablotny, who claimed the victory - marking a standout moment for the Rocky Mountain team.
Known for his technical precision, creativity, and fearless riding style, Genon has long been one of freeride’s most respected athletes. His addition to the roster further strengthens a team that continues to shape the future of Mountainbike Freeriding.
Thomas Genon:
“Rocky Mountain is iconic - and so are my new teammates. Ever since my passion for mountain biking started growing, Rocky has had a strong presence. Wade Simmons, who is still with the company, paved the way for us to do what we all love at the highest level of riding and creativity. Hayden is our latest Red Bull Rampage winner and is only getting started. Alex Volokhov is a gnarly dude as well, and I can’t wait to do more with them and the rest of the team. A lot of exciting new things are coming up with Rocky. I’m so honored to be riding them and working also with legends of the sport”
Founded in 1981 in the rugged mountains of British Columbia, Rocky Mountain Bicycles has been shaping the evolution of mountain biking for more than four decades. “Having Thomas join our roster is huge for us,” said Stephan Geiß, Brand and Marketing Manager at Rocky Mountain Bicycles. “His consistency at the highest level of the sport proves he is a true professional. Thomas is a fantastic character who fits perfectly into our existing team and represents progression, creativity, and authenticity, values that are deeply rooted in our DNA.
