It's the 2022 season and the next generation of MTB athletes are about to break through making their way into the elite. There is one name floating around these days, who is about to take that step next year into the elite. This man is Martin Vidaurre Kossmann, Chilean and racer by heart!

Making his breakthrough last year with the win of the U23 World Champion title in Val di Sole, Italy, his reigning season 2022, Martin made clear that he's here to stay and the 2022 season is one he won't forget. The 22-year-old Chilean, who competes for the Lexware Mountain Bike Team has so far won every single one of the five World Cup venues. At the World Cup in Lenzerheide last weekend, he also dominated right from the start controlling the race and competition. Before Vidaurre, no rider had managed such a dominance in the U23 category in recent years.
