Claudio Caluori becomes ROTWILD brand ambassador.

Together with Claudio Caluori, seven-times Swiss Downhill and 4Cross Champion, ROTWILD will position the e-mountain bikes even more strongly as high-performance sports devices.

The Swiss rider is not only very familiar with downhill racing as a rider, he was also team manager of the Scott-Velosolutions World Cup team for 11 years and now manages the cross-country-based UCI Pump for Peace – Velosolutions Racing Team.

With this background and especially that as a passionate e-mountain bike rider, the 44-year old now spends 95% of his time on an e-mountain bike, Claudio Caluori will provide important input for the development of new e-mountain bikes as our regular test rider. Claudio Caluori has gained experience in all areas of riding, especially efficiency, not only in everyday life riding on trails and bike parks, but also with his own 'Neverresting' racing format. In October 2021, he challenged World and Olympic Champion Nino Schurter with an e-mountain bike race for a good cause as part of his 'Neverresting' project. Claudio Caluori is excited and eager for the first test rides. "Wow, I never would have dreamed that I would be working with a bike manufacturer like this after my racing career. I can't wait to test how the new ROTWILD e-bikes perform on my local trails. If I don't answer your e-mails in the coming weeks, it's probably because the bikes are so much fun to ride! Together with his trail-building company Velosolutions, Claudio Caluori is also committed to helping socially disadvantaged people. He therefore founded Pump for Peace (www.pumpforpeace.com), a global initiative that focuses on the construction of pump tracks, especially in crisis areas. The aim of the initiative is to make cycling and active sports accessible to everyone, regardless of their origin, gender, religion or social class, thus promoting a more tolerant future. ROTWILD is supporting this initiative in a number of ways, such as building a Pump for Peace track every year. So far, Pump for Peace tracks have been built in Lesotho, South Africa and Israel.
