Bontrager launched an upgrade to its footwear lineup today, releasing a new version of its popular Flatline Mountain Bike Shoe designed to give flat-pedal riders more confidence to handle harsh terrain on and off the bike.

The shoe’s new design enhances its durability, breathability, and toe protection with new strong, synthetic perforated upper materials and a reinforced toe box. It retains the previous version’s Vibram rubber outsole, keeping riders connected to the pedals and the trail.

The new Flatline also prioritizes versatility and comfort with an inForm Performance last that provides a relaxed fit with a flatter foot position, a shock-absorbing, fatigue-fighting EVA midsole, and directional tread at the toe and heel that deliver excellent off-bike traction.

Flatline makes flat-pedal riding easier and enjoyable for riders of all experience levels—even professionals. It’s the long-time shoe of choice for Trek C3 Project rider Casey Brown, thanks to its incredible pedal feel and a uniform tread pattern that gives her confidence, power, and control to rail through the toughest of trails.

Flatline shoes are backed by the 30-Day Unconditional Guarantee, which gives riders 30 days to love their purchase. If they don't, we'll take it back. It's that simple.

The new Flatline Mountain Bike Shoe ($139.99 MSRP) is available immediately in unisex sizing and multiple color options on trekbikes.com in select markets, as well as through Trek’s wide network of retail partners.
