Proven classics, high-alpine terrain and legendary events

The Bike Kingdom remains a true mecca for mountain bikers in 2025. With three dedicated bike parks – Lenzerheide, Arosa, and Chur – plus over 900 kilometers of mapped trails and tours, the region serves up one of the most diverse and exciting riding experiences in the Alps. From fan-favorite lines in Bike Kingdom Park Lenzerheide like the FLOWline, PRIMEline, or the World Cup-tested STRAIGHTline, to singletrack gems and remote tours across the Bike Kingdom – there's a ride here for every kind of rider.

Arosa’s Hörnli Trail, for example, offers 6.8 kilometers of smooth, beginner-friendly flow all the way from the top station to the valley. In contrast, The Great White near Parpaner Weisshorn peak delivers a rough, technical ride with big views and even bigger rewards. Riders looking for a full-day mission off the beaten path should check out the Kingdom’s extensive tour network – led by the legendary "Biketicket to Ride Black". This lift-supported mega-tour takes riders across the entire Kingdom: over 90 kilometers in total, with just 700 meters of climbing and more than 6,000 meters of descending. From flowy trails to gnarly tech and serious alpine adventure – the Kingdom’s trail menu has it all.

Events that bring the season to life

The Bike Kingdom doesn’t just shine on the trails – its 2025 event line-up is just as powerful. Things get rolling with the Bike Kingdom Opening in Lenzerheide from 7 to 9 June, the official kick-off on Whitsun weekend featuring trail action, side events, food, and a big party vibe. Next up, it’s time to plug in: the E-Bike Festival on 20 and 21 June focuses on e-mountain bikes with guided rides, tech sessions, and loads of test gear for curious riders.

On 5 July, things heat up with the Last Rider Standing, a brutal team eliminator where riders race in shorter and shorter intervals, trying to make the same gondola lap each round. The team that lasts the longest takes the win. Kicking off the very next day, Late Shred runs from 6 July to 16 August, offering extended lift hours until 8pm, sunset sessions, and a variety of small evening events like parties, concerts, jump shows and workshops – the ultimate way to close out a summer ride.

From 11 to 13 July, the Bike Kingdom Hunt Arosa brings a creative mix of scavenger hunt, trail riding and problem-solving to the mountains – riders compete in teams to reach checkpoints and complete challenges. The fastest team wins, but the top prize goes to the team that finishes closest to the average time of all teams. Things turn family-friendly from August 8 to 10 during Family Bike Vibes, where parents and kids shred together across skills courses, relaxed rides, and share a lot of fun.

For those chasing the perfect bike setup, the Bike Kingdom Testride from 29 to 31 August is a must. The latest gear from top brands, real trails, and expert advice – all with the stunning Lenzerheide backdrop.

UCI Mountain Bike World Cup: Who will follow Schurter, Lecomte, Williams & Atherton?

After a one-year break, the UCI Mountain Bike World Series is back in Lenzerheide from 19 to 21 September 2025. Fans can expect top-level Cross-Country racing from World Cup leaders Christopher Blevins, Samara Maxwell, and Swiss legend Nino Schurter, who claimed his record-breaking 34th World Cup win here just two years ago. On the Downhill side, the STRAIGHTline returns to the spotlight as the world’s fastest riders battle to follow Jordan Williams and Rachel Atherton at the top of the Lenzerheide World Cup podium.

The weekend is more than just racing – the massive Expo Area, autograph sessions, and side events create a buzzing festival atmosphere. Tickets for this world-class bike event go on sale starting 1 May.

The Bike Kingdom is also making moves when it comes to gear: in partnership with Pirelli and Swiss distributor Chris Sports, a special edition of the popular Scorpion Race Enduro M tire has been released. The "Bike Kingdom Special Edition" is tailored for demanding alpine enduro terrain – tough, grippy, and ready for rough conditions. It’s now available at select bike shops and through the Bike Kingdom app.
