On the evening of Friday, June 20, the curtain will rise on the UCI Mountain Bike World Series weekend with Daolasa di Commezzadura hosting the opening round of the world's premier 4X series. All eyes will be on Czech icon Tomas Slavik and Italy's rising talent Stefano Dolfin.

This year, Val di Sole once again welcomes the 4X Pro Tour opener on Friday, June 20, as part of the weekend of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series (June 20–22). The race will unfold on the legendary Daolasa di Commezzadura track, celebrated for its thrilling challenges and breathtaking setting. Under the evening spotlights, the world's top riders will battle elbow-to-elbow in an electrifying showdown.

The 2025 4X Pro Tour calendar features four stages: Val di Sole, Jablonec (Czech Republic, July 12), Dobrany (Czech Republic, August 2) and Szczawno Zdroj (Poland, September 6).

At the forefront of the sport stands Tomas Slavik, a dominant figure in four-cross history and last year’s winner in Val di Sole. Slavik continues to captivate fans worldwide, including with his daring performance at the Red Bull Cerro Abajo in Genoa. Sharing the spotlight is Stefano Dolfin, Italy’s four-cross hopeful, who secured an impressive second place in Val di Sole last year.

Leading the 4X Pro Tour organization is Scott Beaumont, who balances his role as event manager with competing against younger athletes. “The 2025 season is shaping up to be one of the best ever. We’re returning to venues that have consistently championed our discipline, delivering world-class events. This year’s series will showcase the sport’s finest athletes in a thrilling quest for the championship,” Beaumont remarked.

“The Four Cross discipline is an integral part of our sporting heritage,” said Luciano Rizzi, President of the Val di Sole Tourism Board and Grandi Eventi Val di Sole. “We were determined to ensure the continuity of this event. The 4X Pro Tour shares our passion for Daolasa di Commezzadura, which riders consider the most spectacular and demanding track in the world.”
