Superenduro Final in Ligure.

The Enduro World Series and the Superenduro powered by SRAM are preparing to write the final chapter to an amazing season.

It's sure to be an exciting weekend, Jerome Clementz, Tracy Mosely and Martin Maes will start the race already as winners of the Enduro World Series, but everything is still to play for in the hunt for the 2013 Superenduro title. Manuel Ducci and Davide Sottocornola have only a handful of points between them, and in the women's race, Laura Rossin, Chiara Pastore and Valentina Macheda could all take the overall win.

In the words of Davide Sottocornola, "This is my sixth season racing Superenduro and every year I find something new. For us Italians, the entire season comes down to this race and we have to also compete with the world's top riders. I've always got onto the podium here in Finale, the trails and the atmosphere here always bring the best out in me. The fight with Manuel will be tough though, but I will give everything right the way to the last metre of the trail.

Fortunately some of the most important Italian words, like ciao, grazie, pizza, pasta and caffe are very international, so the 26 nations represented in this race will feel right at home. "Our area offers some of the best riding conditions in the world," say Riccardo Negro, the local organiser for Blue Bike A.S.D. "The tracks are unique, we have breathtaking scenery and a mild climate all year-round, which combine to create a destination that is always a favourite among the riders. To host the final round of the first ever Enduro World Series season is the culmination of fifteen years hard work, a dream come true for us."

Nearly 600 riders will take part in this, the final adventure of the 2013 season. The race course will be unveiled on Wednesday 16 October and practice is allowed on Thursday 17 and Friday 18. On Saturday 19 there will be four race stages, and two more on Sunday 20.
