Third round of Giro d'Italia Ciclocross, third joy for Northwave. In Asolo (Treviso, Northern Italy), the Italian brand celebrated the success of Selle Italia Guerciotti's youngster, Gioele Bertolini, on Sunday December 6th.

Equipped with Extreme Tech MTB Plus shoes and PRO gloves, the 20-year-old from Lombardy dominated the race, preceding on the finish line Enrico Franzoi (Wilier Force) and another Northwave's rider, Nicolas Samparisi (CX Selle Italia SMP). In addition, Bertolini conquered the pink overall leader jersey designed by Northwave Custom Project.

Northwave's riders were in the spotlight in the youth categories: Antonio Folcarelli (Promo Cycling) preceded Michele Bassani (Work Service Brenta) and Lorenzo Calloni (Selle Italia Guerciotti) in the Junior race whilst Nicole Fede (Iaccobike Guerciotti) clinched victory in the Women Cadet race.

At Overijse Druivencross in Belgium, Tim Merlier (Vastgoedservice) finished fourth in the race won by the World Champion Mathieu Van der Poel (BKCP) ahead of Kevin Pauwels (Sunweb) and Tom Meeusen (Telenet).
