Transrockies Singletrack 6: Seven Summits + Sibling Rivalry = Epic Day
What a day! Stage 3 of Singletrack 6, presented by Grynd Energy, delivered all the goods and more.
Dubbed the “Queen Stage” for good reason, today’s route packed in 45km of rugged terrain and 1,750 metres of climbing — but oh, was it worth it.
Riders tackled the famed Seven Summits Trail, a designated IMBA Epic that lived up to its name with big climbs, high ridgelines, stunning alpine views, and endless ribbons of singletrack. If your legs weren’t burning, your jaw was dropping from the scenery.
In the Women's Pro/Elite category, the top three ladies kept things close with another thrilling showdown on the Queen Stage.
🥇 Britt Mason – 3:25:20.7
🥈 Emma Maaranen – 3:26:28.0
🥉 Lindsay Glassford – 3:35:43.4
Britt and Emma were nearly neck-and-neck all stage long, while Lindsay kept the pressure on to round out the podium. With just seconds separating the top two after three days of racing, this is shaping up to be an epic battle all the way to Nelson!
In the Men's Pro/Elite field, the Battle of the Brothers continues — and this time, it was Quinton Disera who came out on top… by just two seconds.
🥇 Quinton Disera – 3:08:57.3
🥈 Peter Disera – 3:08:59.3
Yep, you read that right — two seconds after 45 kilometres of serious mountain biking. These two are pushing each other to the absolute limit, and it's a front-row show we’re thrilled to witness.
Stay tuned — with more challenging stages ahead, we’re in for a wild ride to the finish.
