Ralph and Gunn-Rita Dahle dominate in Austria.

Northwave enjoyed absolute domination at XC Ötztaler Forest Cross, International cross country race held in Haiming (Austria), on Sunday, May 4th, where Ralph Naef (BMC) and eternal Gunn-Rita Dahle brought their Extreme Tech Plus all the way to the top of the podium in their categories.

Naef left his mark on the race since the early going, moving on a two-man breakaway with Italian Gerhard Kershbaumer, who was eventually slowed by a puncture. The Swiss rider kept the solo lead of the race up to the finish, concluding ahead of Lukas Fluckinger and Alexander Gehbauer.

Forty-one and still rocking: Norwegian Gunn-Rita Dahle (Multivan Merida) keeps leading the way on the international off-road stage. A long-time Northwave testimonial, Gunn-Rita dominated the race, delivering ahead of Githa Michiels, while another athlete sponsored by the Italian brand, Austrian Elisabeth Osl (Team Ghost), claimed a 5th place

In addition, at the 27th Misquil-Bike XC del Grappa in Italy, youngster Moreno Pellizzon and his Extreme Tech Plus preceded three Trivium Lee Cougan riders, with Alessandro Zoppelli in second place ahead teammates Michele Maresciutti and Lorenzo del Piva.
