Overall winnners crowned at 4Islands MTB Croatia

1190

The 4th and final stage of the 4Islands MTB Croatia took place on the island of Rab and led the teams on a 65 kilometer loop around the island with 1640 meters of climbing.

The final stage of the 2024 4Islands MTB Croatia saw 2022 Cape Epic winner, the German Duo Lukas Baum & Georg Egger from ORBEA Leatt Speed Company going all-in to claim the yellow jerseys. The defending 4Islands MTB Croatia champions Lukas Baum and Georg Egger could only reduce Nicola Taffarel (ITA) and Massimo Rosa’s (ITA) lead by 1 minute and 24 seconds though. Which meant that the Metallurgica Veneta MTB Pro Team 1 did enough to win the title, relatively comfortably. There were no concerns for the UCI Women’s champions, as the BUFF MEGAMO duo Janina Wüst (SUI) & Rosa van Doorn (NED) won their fifth stage and were crowned queens of the race across the Kvarner islands.
