The last stage of the Mediterranean Epic had all the ingredients that have made the race world famous. But concentrated in only 49 km.

A movement by Georg Egger just before entering the spectacular passage through the sand of La Concha beach placed him at the head of the race alone. His advantage, although small, was enough for the German to reach the finish line as the winner of the day, a finishing touch to his overall victory. Wout Alleman and Hans Becking have completed a podium of many carats for this 5th edition of the race.

In the women's category, the general seemed to be sentenced in favor of Natalia Fischer. His leader's jersey was never in danger after the previous day's display, Fischer preferred to take a more conservative approach. Ramona Forchini attacked from the start and took the stage win. The final general was unchanged and Natalia Fischer has mastered this edition, breaking Forchini's winning streak. Evie Richards, 2nd, and Janina Wust, 3rd, complete the podium in the women's category.
