Bike Republic Sölden Festival x Swatch Nines

The countdown is on: the Bike Republic Sölden Festival is kicking off this weekend!

The Swatch Nines riders have already rolled into town and are dropping into their first private sessions. Things will heat up on Friday evening with the spectacular Swatch Nines Night Shoot. The whole Sölden crew is in full prep mode to make sure festival-goers get the full experience – on and off the bike. Here’s a quick rundown of the must-knows for your festival weekend.

The Public Sessions of the Swatch Nines are something you won’t see anywhere else in the world. Usually, these insane jam sessions are behind closed doors – but in Sölden, you can get right up close. This year, 42 riders from MTB freeride, slopestyle, BMX freestyle, and even skateboarding are dropping into the Ötztal Alps. Big names like Erik Fedko, Patricia Druwen, Emil Johansson, Robin Goomes, and the Godziek brothers are ready to throw down. On the BMX, Sölden welcomed among others Garrett Reynolds and Matthias Dandois, and on the skateboard, for example, Andy Anderson and Gustavo Ribeiro.

Want a sneak peek? Check out the 3D course preview of the freeride and slopestyle line in the Grünwald Dirtpark.

And if you want to ride like a Nines pro yourself, the “Feel The Nines” Rideouts are where it’s at – join Lukas Knopf, Casey Brown, Sam Reynolds, or Peter Kaiser on Sunday. Last spots will be raffled off Saturday night at the live tombola.

Also, don’t miss the three official world record attempts by Mario Neurauter, who’s aiming to stomp the highest Flat Drop (over 4 meters), the highest Flat Drop onto a target and the highest Flat Drop 360 onto a target.

More Festival Highlights

Think you’ve got skills? Test them at Bunny Hööp & Bike Limbo or the Bike Obstacle Duel powered by Raika Club. Want to step up your own riding? Sign up for one of the coaching sessions and workshops happening throughout the weekend.

In the Brand Area and Festival Area, top industry brands will be showcasing their 2026 gear – and you might be able to score some serious deals on the 2025 range.

Hungry? The Genuss Standln food stalls are serving up tasty regional specialties.

Of course, the Bike Republic Sölden trails are wide open for shredding during the festival. Ride all day, then party with the world’s MTB elite all night. Fans will also get the chance to meet their heroes at signing sessions as well as at meet & greets – times will be announced via social media.

Getting There & Getting Around

The greenest way to get to the festival is by train and bus, with the added bonus that you can take your bike along for free on the local buses (all details online). For those arriving by car, visitor parking is available close to the event area, while additional paid options can be found at Giggijochbahn, Postplatz, Gaislachkoglbahn, and the Freizeit Arena Sölden. To make moving around super easy, a free shuttle bus connects the Festival and Brand Area with the Swatch Nines Dirt District in Grünwald. It runs every 15 minutes, operating on Friday from 18:00 to 22:30 and on Saturday from 12:00 to 16:00, with stops at both Giggijochbahn and Gaislachkoglbahn.
