The Enduro World Series heads back to France and the sport’s spiritual home this weekend for round 7 - the Enduro Des Portes du Mercantour driven by URGE Bike Products.

For elite Cross-Country (XCO) and Downhill (DHI) racers, it all comes down to a crucial final race as the 2016 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup presented by Shimano heads to the misty hillsides of Andorra in southwestern Europe. Three overall world cup titles are still on the line as is one history-making winning streak. Red Bull TV will carry all of the action live as it happens September 3-4, 2016.

Day seven of Crankworx Whistler action saw the local hero whip his way to the top and a former pump track dominator regain his mojo. American Mitch Ropelato, who won the Ultimate Pump Track Challenge presented by RockShox in 2011, 2012 and 2013, stole victory from the now two-time Pump Track Challenge World Champion, Adrien Loron, with a finish so tight the pair crashed over one another in the finish coral.

There is no question Marcelo Guitiérrez is the man of the moment at Crankworx Whistler where he pulled in a record fourth win in the Garbanzo DH Tuesday, even after snapping his chain. The epic downhill course, in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park, boasts 1026 metres of vertical drop, or three times the 359 metres of descent of the other two downhill races for the 10-day, multi-disciplinary gravity fest—the Fox Air DH and Canadian Open DH presented by iXS.

Style, speed and a double “first ever” marked the opening competition of Crankworx Whistler, as the final stop of the 2016 Crankworx World Tour got underway on Saturday. Slopestyle rider Tomas GENON (BEL) pulled out a win in the CLIF Bar Dual Speed & Style, proving tricks could dominate on the short, fast courses, despite athletes’ concerns the track itself would force speed to dominate.

For the last round of the season, the Superenduro Series lands in Alta Valtellina, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, where high elevation and natural trails will be the perfect settings of the final battle for the titles in the Men's and Women's categories.
