Joseph Nation (26), of Christchurch, took out the overall with a final time of 44 minutes and 56 seconds, while Dunedin local, Leighton Kirk (23), took second place in a time of 46.06. Queenstown’s Jimmy Pollard bounced back from a...

This year was arguably the most competitive FMB World Tour season yet! After countless ground breaking runs have been thrown down, Thomas Genon has triumphed and is now the 2015 FMB World Champion. The Canadian athlete, Brett Rheeder dominated the first half of the season and showed incredible sportsmanship at every of the five Diamond Series stops. Making third place on the overall podium is shooting star Nicholi Rogatkin. Please follow this link to the full ranking.

The mountain is calling! Riders are in the desert, digging their ultimate line for the notorious Red Bull Rampage. This gnarly mountain bike freeride event will crown one of them the 2015 FMB World Champion. Due to predicted thunderstorms at the weekend, the finals have been moved forward 24 hours. Tune in LIVE on Red Bull TV this Friday, October 16th from 6:30pm CEST to be first to find...

Since the start of the FMB Diamond Series at Crankworx Rotorua, three athletes have been pushing themselves and one another for the top spot on event podiums. Brett Rheeder has dominated the season but Thomas Genon and Nicholi Rogatkin have kept the pressure on throughout. Athletes can snatch up to 1000pts for a victory at a Diamond contest, so with just one event left on the calendar and less than 300pts between these three FMB heroes, the margin for error at Red Bull Rampage is wafer thin....

Behind every cloud is a silver lining, and despite a one day rain delay which forced the postponement of the most highly anticipated event of the week-long Crankworx Whistler festival, Red Bull Joyride hit the mountain on August 16th showcasing slopestyle mountain biking under near perfect weather conditions. The Red Bull Signature Series event featured 18 of the world's top athletes in a season-defining showdown that marked the final stop of the Crankworx World Tour and the last required win...

The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup’s finals are still ahead of us, but there is already an overall winner: Rachel Atherton is this year’s downhill champion. The Briton was more than nine seconds ahead and clinched her fifth consecutive World Cup victory at the next-to-last UCI race in Windham (USA). An historical day for Rachel – also because her childhood idol Missy Giove raced this weekend for the first time in years.

Everyone knows that anything can happen at Crankworx - and the SRAM Canadian Open Enduro Presented by Specialized didn't disappoint. There was heartbreak and elation in equal measure at a dramatic round 6 of the Enduro World Series in Whistler. There were some new faces on the podium and some familiar grimaces as mechanicals once again changed the fate of a Whistler race.

After years of battling for another Crankworx win, Tyler McCAUL walked away with a tidy first place finish in the CLIF Bar Dual Speed & Style over friend and rival Kyle Strait. While not enough to push him into contention for the first overall title of the Crankworx World Tour, consistent solid performance in a typically wet West Coast rain shower seemed proved the perfect strategy over his fellow American competitor, who slid out on the final run.

Squamish rider Quinn Moberg and Fat Tire Crit super champ Jean Ann Berkenpas take wins July 7, 2015 Whistler, B.C. – A cross-country rider from Valemont, B.C. has proven hat-tricks will be the talk of the town even beyond the race for the Triple Crown of Slopestyle this year at Crankworx Whistler.

This 4th round could have been a corner stone in the 2016 Enduro French Cup rankings and it was indeed the case. On the 310 riders at the start gate, we noticed straight away that Loic Piazon and Clément Benoit were missing, due to injuries at training or on races after Millau. Then Florian Baladier, 3rd of the overall, got injuried during the first stage. It was therefore 3 serious favorites knocked out of the race before they could properly enter the battle, this sport could sometimes be...

Brett Rheeder has won the 2nd round of the Triple Crown, the Crankworx Les 2 Alpes SlopestyleAfter thrilling the Kiwi fans by sharing his victory lap in the Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle with friend Logan Peat, Canadian Brett Rheeder earned himself another celebratory sail through the concourse, taking the second round of the Triple Crown of Slopestyle in style.

After starting the season in Rotorua, New Zealand and then round two in Munich, Germany – it's time to travel to France for the third stop: Crankworx Les 2 Alpes. With two events already on the board, Brett Rheeder leads the standings with Nicholi Rogatkin and Thomas Genon tied in second. The Canyon Factory Freeride Team leads the FMB Factory Team standings but all of that can change as the Trek C3 project team, currently third will have all their big guns in Les 2 Alpes.

"Today the trails here are just phenomenal they have technical, rock drops, rock slabs, huge berms that are above my head. Here you're just rewarded every time you climb." Vicki Barclay 2nd place today. Local Moberg takes first stage win while Nash continues to outpace the rest of the women and most of the men.
