The beast was back. Mt. 7 Psychosis.

Over 1200 vertical meters. 7.3 kilometers of steep, rough and rocky singletrack. One infamous entrance, and one equally notorious “choking on glass” (credit to Tyler Morland in Seasons) hike-a-bike section. Add 10 years of history and a list of legendary champions, and the renown of the Mt7 Psychosis race starts to become clear.

Who gets excited by helmets? Probably not most cyclists, unless they happen to find something matchy matchy to their bike or kit.

It was a hot Stage 5 and we're still alive! The Planet Foods/Honey Stinger sponsor day was the perfect fit for the stage as it was a stinger and we needed a lot of gels. Flat tires, cow dogging, rattlesnakes and a grizzly?

I've done a enough of these multi day stage races now to know that Day 3 hurts. You go hard the first 2 days and your body gets mad at you and then you try and go hard on day 3 and your body doesn't want you to. Thankfully this years day 3 took us into a super long descent after a quick dry...

For the 2nd time in his career, Neko Mulally will be wearing the US National Flag on his left sleeve as the reigning US National Champion, a title he collected yesterday at the Snowshoe resort in West Virginia. With reigning National Champion and team-mate Arron Gwin out with his thumb injury,...

Exactly 7 days after finishing second at the Big White Invitational Slopestyle and winning an FMB Wildcard to Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler, ROSE Rad Squad rider Torquato Testa climbed the top step on the podium of GlemmRide Slopestyle, held in Saalbach Hinterglemm, Austria, beating...

Morning temps for the burly 56 km final stage of BC Bike Race in Squamish were expected to be in the mid 20s soaring to the low 30s in the afternoon. Some of BCBR's 90 Mexican participants might consider it a chilly spring day. On the coast we call it hot. Perennially a people's choice favorite,...

Specialized’s Hannah Barnes has ridden in stage races from the Andes to southern France. Some are simply a series of soul crushing climbs followed by equally soul crushing gravel road descents. Lumps of coal when you were expecting diamonds. Not the BC Bike Race. Yes the climbs are tough, but at...

"After that trail, if there's one game I'll never play again it's Frogger," said an American rider, between laboured breaths. He was in the middle of a multinational chain of BC Bike Racers that included a Chilean, Frenchman, Guatemalan and a Canadian. Forty kilometers into a 62-km day,...
