Riders started their pursuit for glory on Saturday night with the Pro Stage, where it was Richie Rude (Yeti/Fox Factory Team) and Andreane Lanthier Nadeau (Rocky Mountain Race Face Enduro Team) who raced to victory and set the scene for an intense showdown on Sunday’s four stages.

2021 Rocky Mountain Instinct C70 Ride Review

If you’re like me, 2021 left you scrambling for a bike this spring. Having sold off my 2020 Santa Cruz Megatower, feeling it was a bit too much bike for me, I had settled on getting a more trail oriented bike for 2021.

Cannondale Factory’s bikers keep on dominating at Internazionali d’Italia MTB, as Manuel Fumic led a strong 1-2 finish in Nalles ahead of Marco Aurelio Fontana. The two riders, both equipped with Northwave Extreme Tech MTB shoes, dominated the race from the early going, with the Italian holding...

You’ve probably observed more and more riders are on bikes that look “different” on your trails. Bikes that have wheels and tires of gigantic proportion – and we’re not talking about 29ers here.

To bring this year's Absa Cape Epic to an end, I would like to recommend you the "Blood, Sweat and Tears" Clip. The video shows how the riders had to fight during the eight days of competition and that the Cape Epic is legitimately known as one of the toughest mountainbike races on earth!

MENNEN AND HYNEK KINGS OF THE EPIC LANGVAD AND KLEINHANS WIN LARGEST PRIZE PURSE FOR WOMEN It was a traditional final day, all culminating at Lourensford Wine Estate where a hero's welcome awaited the tired riders. It was a short day with a late start, but definitely not a free ride to the...

The sixth stage of the Absa CAPE EPIC 2014 took place in South Africa yesterday. With 85km in distance and 1.800 climbing metres the route was less brutal than in yesterday's stage 5! However the riders had to be fully concentrated on the technical demanding single tracks around Oak Valley, as the...

The fifth stage of the Absa CAPE EPIC 2014 took place in South Africa. With 110km in distance and 2.900 climbing metres it was the "queen stage" of this year's race! The route took the riders from the Oaks Estate near Greyton to the beautiful Oak Valley.

The fourth stage of the Absa CAPE EPIC 2014 took place. With 88km in distance and 1.800 climbing metres it was one of the "easier" stages of this year's race! Fitting to the trend of the last three stages we saw the fourth different team winning a stage.

It was another dramatic day at the Absa Cape Epic. Stage 4 was marred with the withdrawals of four-times champion Karl Platt and second-place mixed racer Cherise Stander.  Team Bulls' Platt from Germany has finished all 10 previous editions of the Cape Epic, but was left with no choice but to...

MENNEN AND HYNEK TO WEAR YELLOW TOMORROW Stage 3 was the longest day of the 2014 Absa Cape Epic, and was characterized by rolling hills and gravel roads. It had been described as a transition stage – with less demanding terrain – but a persistent wind made for tough conditions. It took riders...

By Chris Whitfield AN act of sportsmanship on Friday's hot, rugged and mountainous stage five of the Absa Cape Epic may have decided the destination of the race. The stage was won by Roel Paulissen of Belgium and Italian partner Riccardo Chiarini (Torpado) in a thrilling finish, but they have...

Yesterday the third stage of the Absa CAPE EPIC 2014 took place.
