BIKE Four Peaks course finalized.

1631

Just a few days before the official registration for the second edition of the BIKE Four Peaks will kick off next week, Race Organisers have not only announced the 2014 stage towns but also unveiled the course layout for next year's race.

Under the motto of 'old meets new' the routing will lead through the Pinzgau area and Tyrol in Austria. Compared to last summer, the four-day event lasting from June 4 thru 7 will offer - thanks to the new start town and the alternated stage design - plenty of new legs.

A maximum of 1,000 participants including pros as well as amateurs will travel from Leogang via Lofer, Kirchberg and Neukirchen to Kaprun. The 274.94 km in distance and 9,238 metres in elevation will offer several exhausting climbs as well as pure joy of mountain biking as the route not only features several peaks but also World Championships tested super trails.
